There are several ways to resolve a traffic citation:
- To contest the citation, you may appear in court at the location, date and time provided on the digital citation. To access the digital citation, scan the QR code on the card issued to you by the law enforcement officer (see “About the QR code…” for more information regarding the QR code).
- Contact the court before the “Notice to Appear” date to make arrangements with the court, such as deferred disposition or defensive driving. Contact the court for more information.
- You may also resolve the citation by paying fines in full by the date provided:
• You may pay online by clicking on the PAY FINE tab on the website: www.tickets.mytrusteddriver.com
The Trusted Driver payment portal, powered by Stripe, accepts credit cards, as well as various forms of mobile payment (Google Pay, Apple Pay). Note: A convenience fee will apply.

To determine if you qualify for deferred disposition or a driving safety course, and if it’s an option for mitigating your citation, you should contact the court directly. They can provide guidance on whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
NOTE: If you request deferred disposition or request a driving safety course, it will be up to the judge to grant it.
Click on the tab marked “Incident” and you will see the Fine Total there. If there is no fee listed, please contact the court.
This citation can be paid immediately if you click “PAY FINE.” This will direct you to use the payment portal through Trusted Driver, powered by Stripe. Contact the court for other payment options, which may not be immediate.

Yes, paying a fine associated with a traffic ticket will result in a conviction on your state driving record.
Contact the court to make specific arrangements regarding your citation, such as requesting an extension to pay a fine.
After 60 days from the “Notice to Appear” date, the fine will go to collections. After 90 days, it is reported to the state’s “Failure to Pay” program – also known as OmniBase.
An alternative option, such as Community Service, will be decided by the Judge. You will need to contact the court and ask whether this is a potential option.
You have until the court appearance date noted on your E-Ticket.
If you are unable to pay the fine in full, contact the court to make arrangements or to contest the violations. Do not ignore the citation!
